Title:
Hot Rod

Technique:
Colored pencils and acrylic on MDF

Size:
90x50 cm

The hot rods and their world, as I have already said, have always fascinated me. I only have models, and the only way to "enjoy it" is to paint it! And I like doing it in any pictorial technique and on any surface.
This is a1933 Plymouth Hot Rod Coupe, photographed on the Bonneville Salt Flat, was drawn and painted in pastel and acrylic on a MDF panel.
Its porous and irregular surface has allowed me to work a ruined effect.
The final scratches made with a metal brush, have completed the "old" effect I wanted to get.
Do you like it? Then please share it!
